Hap Rigby works for the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation where he advises Chairman John Thune (R-SD) on communications, technology, and Internet policy.  Hap has worked in the Senate since 2005, including positions at the Commerce and Banking Committees, and in the personal office of U.S. Senator ‎Jim DeMint (R-SC).  Hap grew up near Charleston, South Carolina, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management from the University of South Carolina.  Hap lives in Washington, DC, with his wife and two children.
